Each student is different and each student needs someone they are compatible with. If a student cannot be reached by their regular class teachers, it is not their fault. There is a gap of communication that simply cannot be bridged by those two individuals. This is where I come in. My goal is to identify each student's style of learning as well as their unique personality. I aim to provide an environment that each student is EXCITED to enter... humor and personality go a long way in building friendships with young adults. Don't think for a minute that teachers need to be boring or militant in order to make the material understandable... I feel quite the opposite. In fact, my favorite classes, and those which I learned most from, are those where the instructor infused the course material with humor and activities that put everything into a practical and tangible perspective.
