Hi! Thanks for viewing my profile. I am a certified teacher and professional tutor who is passionate about teaching and meeting students at their level. All good teachers share a common teaching philosophy which is a desire to engage students in the process of learning by encouraging, challenging and nurturing them while maintaining the role of teacher and mentor. What sets apart these good teachers is their own individual style that they bring to the student. I am a teacher, a facilitator and a co-learner in my teaching environment.

As a teacher and professional tutor is it my desire to create an environment where a student can tap into their own interests and unique talents to produce quality work using their unique styles of learning while demonstrating their understanding and mastery of the curriculum objectives.

As a former classroom and home school teacher I have teaching experience in grades Pre-K through 8th, in both suburban and urban school districts. My teaching and tutoring career spans over 19 years working with New York and Georgia schools.

As a teacher and private tutor my educational experiences are current and updated. I am continually challenged to be creative, nurturing and helpful as it is my passion to teach and provide my expertise in a field in which I am extremely knowledgeable about.
