TUTORING STYLE
I like to get my students involved in the tutoring experience. Rather than employing a lecture format, I make tutoring a sort of discussion. I encourage asking questions and asking for clarification. My students usually get excited about the material they are studying and are motivated to study it further by themselves. Most of my students report significant improvements in their test scores and homework grades, both as a result of my instruction and their increased initiative to study on their own.
