I have taught English as a Second language in Zambia for over 4 years. Here in the United States, I have taught a Special Education class at the elementary school level for one year with another teacher, I have taught math, reading and writing at the developmental college level at UT Chattanooga for over a year while also working for the Upward Bound program as a tutor, and I have tutored informally in various settings for much of my life (home, church). I am also trained as a School Counselor, which helps me assist with some of the behavioral problems that inhibit learning.
