Tutoring Style and/or Experience
I have tutored for the past three years in community centers, schools and after school programs. My students have been in middle school and high school primarily, but I have worked with younger children as well.
With regard to my methods, I generally like to discuss a particular subject with the students and figure out exactly what they need help with. After this, I design an approach to working on/explaining the material I think the student will respond to. I like to review material in follow up sessions and check to see if the student is understanding.
