I am a graduate of Scripps College in Claremont,CA with a B.A. in Biology. I have a very strong academic background in the sciences, and have been working as a researcher at UCLA and USC for the past few years. While in college I worked with Kaplan Test Prep as an SAT tutor for high school students, and also volunteered at an after-school program, where I tutored middle-school children from low-income families in Math and Science. I found these experiences very rewarding and they gave me the opportunity to interact with and teach students in groups, as well as individually. I sincerely enjoy working with children, and I believe that with my enthusiasm and passion for teaching, I can foster a love of learning in my students as well.
