Tutoring Style and/or Experience
I have tutored for 5 different companies, one of which was a Sylvan Learning Center. I am calm and quiet and try to establish a good relationship with the student while learning what their specific problems are. I like to give a short test to find out what level they are working on now and then help them with current assignments while we work on missing skills. I truly enjoy tutoring because I love being able to help students master skills and see the difference in their grades, self-esteem, and in their confidance.
In addition to English, Reading and Writing, I also tutor Math, GED Prep, Geometry, Life Science, ESL and beginning computers.
