I like to tutor one-on-one as it is the best way to evaluate students' difficulties and discover ways to overcome those difficulties. I have experience tutoring ages 4-22 in many different core subjects including English, Math, Chemistry, SATs, and various test preparation. I am very hands-on, and believe that practicing subjects together is the best way to master them. Homework and school projects take priority over extra practice, however, and I try to make sure that these are completed before any open-ended tutoring. I am a fun and affectionate tutor while still being firm; learning should be fun and rewarding.
