Tutoring Style and/or Experience
I like to get to know a student's style, personality and likes and dislikes. Then, I'll know how to tailor the structure of what we will make our goals. It's important to be real and talk honestly in a trusting, relaxed environment. I understand that it's hard to go to school and learn when there's so much going on outside of the classroom. This all needs to be factored in to the tutoring session so the student can be comfortable to let go of his/her stress before diving into (and finishing) homework. There ARE fun ways to learn anything.
