Tutoring Style and/or Experience
I have a strong background in linguistics and foreign languages, with 5 years ESL experience in S. Korea. I enjoy the subjects I teach and I think it is important to pass on this enthusiasm to my students; learners can only learn when they are intrinsically motivated.
When I tutor students, I make a customized plan for them taking into account their learning style. I guide them according to the plan until they become a more independent learner. Part of this means finding areas where they are weak and strengthening their understanding there, so that they are encouraged to believe they can succeed.
I am able to tutor on Skype for those preferring online tutoring.
