Experience:
At the age 15 I commenced as an assistant for KVPAC, an art and drama company, working with children preparing and assisting them in art and drama activities. I advanced to the role of prop & set director, taking charge and control of creating and teaching how to make stage sets and gathering props for plays. As set director I designed, created, and painted all sets. I then advanced to the role of Art & Drama Assistant Director. In that capacity, I not only took care of the props and sets but choreograph and directed the plays and classes consisting of up to 25 students. I taught art and drama classes and created lesson plans for children from the age of 3 to 18. A few times the head director and I would hold after school classes at different schools around Houston including private schools for special needs children. I have also assisted and taught art and drama classes for home schooled children.
When I started college I continued to immerse myself in art. I have taken many art classes from different colleges and universities. Beginning and Intermediate Drawing, Beginning and Intermediate Painting, Oil Painting, Figure Drawing (the human body), Beginning and Intermediate Ceramics, 3D Design, Theory of Color, and Art History I and II. I have had quite the variety of teachers and professors and feel that one learns more, grows and expands as a person and artist when exposed to a diversity of different artists and their point of views.

Style:
Not only will I use what I have learned from teaching art, what I have learned from the classes I have taken, along with my own experimenting, practice and self-taught knowledge, but I will continue to learn new techniques and apply them to my tutoring.
