I have been told I am very patient and encouraging with my students. I have tutored students from age 3 to adults in their 50s. I really love teaching Spanish conversation classes. I am also able to explain Spanish grammar because I graduated with a Spanish degree from the University of Central Arkansas and studied for 6 months at a Spanish language school in Leon, Spain. I have been using Spanish for 9 years now and I have traveled to 13 different countries. My full-time job is working with Latin Americans, and I know the differences in diction and pronunciation between countries. I have studied Spanish-speaking cultures and am always open to learning more. I also have experience teaching English as a Second Language and doing translation work. I would prefer to tutor students who are currently studying Spanish in a class over those who would like me to be their only teacher. I would like to help students with their assignments for school, proofread written work, and practice Spanish conversation skills.
