Tutor Personal Information

I am native German and moved to the USA in 2001.
At this point I am fully bilingual German/English and also possess language knowledge of Swedish and Russian.
I have a BA in teaching from Germany with focus on German linguistics and literature.
In past years I have mostly worked in international sales and marketing for software companies where I helped localize products from English to German and proof-read German marketing collateral.

Teaching is a passion of mine. I work well teaching adults as well as children.
My 6 year old son is fully fluent in German, English and French and is starting to write and read in these languages as well.
For my students I consider it important to provide a goal oriented, constructive and fun environment. I’d like to be creative in my teaching and look at the person’s learning type. The ultimate goal is to become confident in speaking German which means to pay attention to the basics of language learning as well as working on individual sticking points.
