For nine years I also taught summer programs for junior high and high school students in space exploration, rocketry, robotics and astronomy. I believe teaching science is not just about giving students a set of facts, theories or equations in which to plug in numbers. It's about teaching student a way of thinking so that they understand the strengths and weaknesses of the theory they are learning and can apply them correctly.
