My major area of expertise in history is Modern Europe. I also have personal interests in the ancient world as well as American history up to the presidency of Thomas Jefferson. I feel comfortable speaking at length about those subjects, as well as many topics other topics in US and European history.

In government, I worked for a political party in various aspects in college, so I have seen the political process first-hand. My major field of specialization in college was political theory.
