Former students would tell you my love of reading is contagious, and, since I was only an "average" math student who struggled sometimes, math students found that I broke things down in a way they could understand. I have the unique ability to create a relationship with teens and can sometimes get answers to questions parents have trouble getting.

When I tutor, I focus on students' ability to keep up with their current homework while helping to remediate (or challenge) them. When tutoring, it's important to help a student get not only to grade level, but to get a little beyond grade level so that they feel confident about school.
